VIC-3D概述 Overview

VIC-3D 是一个强大的可视化的应变与运动测量系统。用于测量并可视化全场三维形貌、位移及应变。通过该系统,可在试样表面的每个点获取三维位移和应变数据。所有系统均可根据您的需求定制,适用于准静态和动态事件的多种尺寸尺度。所有系统均为交钥匙方案,包含必要软件、硬件、培训及技术支持,确保系统运行完全符合用户预期。
VIC-3D 可测量任意位移,分辨率可达纳米级(取决于物体尺寸),并能检测100微应变至2000%及以上的应变值,其应变分辨率可达50微应变或更佳。试样尺寸范围取决于校准程序及对应的随机散斑规格。无需特殊照明或激光设备,测试过程中与样品零接触。简而言之——只要肉眼可见,即可实现测量。

The VIC-3D system is a powerful turn-key solution for measuring and visualizing full-field, three-dimensional shape, displacement, and strain based on the principle of Digital Image Correlation. Using this method, 3D displacements and strains are available at every point on the specimen’s surface. All systems are customized to your needs, and are available for a wide range of size scales for quasi-static and dynamic events. All systems are turn-key which includes all necessary software, hardware, training, and technical support to ensure the system operates exactly as expected.
VIC-3D measures arbitrary displacements down to nanometer resolution (dependent upon the size of the object), and strains from 100 microstrain to 2000% and above are possible with 50 microstrain or better strain resolution. Specimen sizes ranging from calibration procedure and an applied random speckle pattern. No special illumination or lasers are required and there is no contact with the specimen during testing. In summary…if we can see it, we can measure it.
VIC-3D provides full-field, 3-Dimensional measurements of shape, displacement and strain, based on the principle of Digital Image Correlation. Using this method, actual object movement is measured and the Lagrangian strain tensor is available at every point on the specimen’s surface.
Vic-3D can measure arbitrary displacements and strains from 50 microstrain to 2000% strain and above, Specimen sizes ranging from < 1 mm to > 100 m are possible, and dynamic events can be captured up to a rate of 5,000,000 fps (frames per second).

The industry-standard VIC-3D digital image correlation (DIC) platform continues to evolve with the release of version 11.4. Building on the vicpyx Python module introduced at iDICs, this update provides a high-level API for executing custom scripts directly within the VIC-3D workspace. This enables researchers to perform complex, user-defined calculations on full-field displacement and strain data without exporting to external environments.
VIC-3D 11.4 introduces a suite of extensions designed to streamline the integration of DIC results with complementary datasets. These enhancements facilitate seamless workflows for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) validation, the generation of Forming Limit Curves (FLC), and other multi-modal applications. By bridging the gap between experimental data and numerical modeling, version 11.4 enhances both analytical precision and throughput.

▪ Advanced Extensometer: whole arrays of extensometers can be placed simultaneously, and individual extensometers can be edited by global/pixel position, length, and direction.
▪ Subtract Thermal Expansion: isolate mechanical strain from thermal effects with a fully-integrated extension.

Introduced in VIC-3D 11, the vicpyx framework succeeds the previous VIC-Py architecture, providing a robust environment to manipulate, transform, and export DIC measurement data. By enabling direct execution of Python scripts within the VIC-3D workspace, vicpyx allows researchers to compute derived quantities and apply complex coordinate transformations without leaving the native environment. This integration streamlines the transition from raw fullfield data to application-specific engineering metrics.
While vicpyx offers a high-level API for custom development, users can leverage its capabilities through a dedicated Extension Library without writing code. VIC-3D 11.4 includes a suite of pre-configured extensions for common research workflows. These modules are fully customizable and can be shared across collaborative teams to ensure standardized data processing. VIC-3D turn-key systems include standard resolution (SR), high resolution (HR), extra-high resolution (XR), high-speed (HS), and ultra-high-speed (UHS) imaging devices that will meet all of your testing needs. Various interfaces are available, such as USB 3.0, Firewire, GigE, and CameraLink, with each offering their own specific benefits in terms of resolution, acquisition rate, and triggering capabilities.
